Searching Life (Hanapbuhay)

Everybody was inquiring why I am not working abroad or why is it I am not a millionaire. I was not brought up to be money lover or to value money as if it is my God. You work in able to receive salary to spend, not to idolize money. Man can not live with bread alone and it is true. They can't also leave their money, he he he.. In other words, Money can not buy health, education, peace of mind, friendship or relationship.

Going or working abroad is not the only solution. It depends upon the situation of the country, company, the behavior of the employer, co-workers and the attitude of the employee himself or herself.

I tried several times applying in abroad. I attempted thrice in CIC Canadian Immigration Consultancy. 2001, 2002, 2003. Then, I applied as a newswriter in Manila-Shimbun to be trained in Cebu and eventually to be sent in Japan. My documents are in the keeping of an agency who was managing my working assignments in abroad from 2006-2007 when I was seeking work in the Middle East in an International School. I am a passport holder now. I think, going to abroad is not on the list of the things I will be doing in my life. It is not included in my destiny. As I observe, it's not my luck. Even if someone predicted I will be going there. Hey, I was prophesied I will be married at 22 last 1994 and I will be working overseas on 2007, see I'm still here in the Philippines! Nothing happens even I prayed hard, work hard and attempted a lot of times!

If ever I will be hired, I inspired to be a professional because they highly value a writer and a teacher. Unlike here in the Philippines. However, I truly hope that someday the treatment for these professions will be as the same as abroad because writers and teachers are your informational and educational supplier of human whether its science or medical breakthrough.

May 1 is LABOR DAY. From the word, labor - labor as in manual work and giving birth. No Work, NO Pay! No Guts, No glory! If you did not work hard for it, you don't deserve any leisure in life. You need to experience suffering later on and pleasure will be given to the one who works in difficulty and do their job right.

When a person is working, it does not mean, money is primarily the goal. The objective should be looking for your purpose and achieving it. Kaya nga sa mga Filipino ang pagtratrabaho (travajo)
is naghahanap buhay. You are searching for your life. If you are working for money, it simply means you are working for MONEY. Working for materials things, not for personal growth or for the good of others or even for the betterment of your professional life.

I recall since I was a young girl, my father told me 1.) Don't take advantage to others or in other words, don't do to others what you don't like them to do unto you, 2.) Work, work, work on your own, don't expect or wait for others to accomplish it for yourself or to get things for onself's gain. Do it on your own.

Everyone is always using power tripping by their money, thru their speech or their credentials. I had experienced those degrading and oppressing my dignity without knowing who I am or what I have accomplished. Those people are not educated even if they hundred times being paid higher than me.

Let me introduce who is Madeline Perolina or Madeline Alma /Alma Madeline de Pala Perolina. Once, an aspiring writer (scriptwriter or novelist or print writer), I took up Journalism at the University of Santo Tomas. Member of UST Journalism Society from 1996-1998.

A humble trainee (OJT) at the TODAY newspaper in its the Style section, owned by Teddy Boy Locsin (April-June, 1997).

First job as a document analyst at SPI, Parañaque in Mar 2000-July 2000.

Hired as a newswriter at USAPING BAYAN office, under the Mayor's Office of Dasmariñas, Cavite from July 2000-July 2002.
News writer (Casual Employee)
USAPING BAYAN Office, Local Media Bureau Productions of Dasmariñas under the Office of the Mayor, Local Government of Dasmariñas, Cavite
My tasks turned to be as:
-News writer and Feature Writer, USAPING BAYAN, local newspaper.
-Researcher, ULAT NG PUNONGBAYAN magazine, March 2001 issue.
-Press release writer for the Mayor, given to the local reporters.

-Photographer, Talent Coordinator, Stage Manager, Backstage Manager, Production Assistant/Manager and Organizer.
-Secretary of the editor-in-chief at the office and productions.

I was an English Teacher/Tutor at the Asian-American Language Center (AIC), Dasmariñas, Cavite from July 2002 – Jan 2003. Tasks included English grammar Teacher to Korean nationalities (Speaking and Writing).

I stopped for a while because of health reasons. I seek jobs after summer.

I was hired as a substitute teacher. An English Teacher at the Dasmariñas Academy, Brgy. Javalera, Gen.Trias, Cavite from Sept. 2003 – Mar 2004 graduation as an English Teacher and Grade Two Class Adviser/Teacher. I did not accept the offer to work there.

I enrolled at the College of Education to take up Education Units at the De La Salle University Dasmariñas. My classes are held every Saturday.

I got a job by August 2004 where I thought it will be permanent because I.T. is in. I was proud to be Content Writer/Editor and Researcher at the Virtual Solutions International Corporation (VSI Web Design Services), Bacoor. I struggled my time studying and working because I am willing to be a teacher if opportunity permits me. My professional job as a Web Content Manager /Editor (Regular Employee) there lasted until July 2005 because I became Web Content Manager (Third Party Static) from Aug. to Sept, 2005. Its fine with me because I was also reviewing for the board exams or LET which I passed and I was re-hire as Web Content Manager (Part-Time) Oct. 2005 – Jan. 2006 for both Town’s Delight, The Caterer, Tanza, Cavite / VSI Webdesign Corp., Bacoor that I had accepted because I wanted to work in able to support my daily needs financially.

I met with my former boss to accept me in a small-paying job just to be working and not doing anything in my life. I was an Office Staff Secretary starting Dec. 2005 – May 2007 of 103.9 QFM Radio Station, FSC bldg. Aguinaldo Highway, Dasmariñas, Cavite
However, I was part-time while I was still a writer. At the long-run, I am regular staff as the Marketing Officer/Account Executive/Acting HRD Manager/Public Relations Officer / Researcher. As I have mentioned in one of my folders here at my blogger, I do play songs when the djs are not around and sat as a DJ Eva in a few times (if the radio program requires someone to talk). I also work as a radio voice over several times within 18 months.

In lieu with that work, I was recommended to finish the term my boss was employed as a
Substitute English Instructor (Part-Time) from Jan. 2006 – Mar. 2006 at
St. Jude College-Dasmariñas, URC Avenue, Salitran IV, Dasmariñas, Cavite.
My students are Freshman of the Nursing, HRM, Computer, and Education classes.

Before the year ended, I was back as a writer at the Public Information Office, Pahayagang Dasmariñas, the Official Newspaper of Dasmariñas under the Office of the Mayor, Local Government of Dasmariñas, Cavite.
My job tasks are almost the same, as a Writer/ Researcher / Secretary / Talent Coordinator / Public Relations Officer, except being a Photographer. That was from Nov. 2006 – June 2007.

When school year started in 2007, I became Teacher Madeline. Language and Reading.
Elementary Teacher for Grade 4, 5 and 6 classes.

I was a class adviser for the schoolyear 2008-2009 of the grade six class.

I was thinking of a masteral's degree since summer of that year and my mother told me to enrol myself. So, I inquired at DLSU-D CLA GS and I was a in graduate school that second semester.
I took M.A. in Teaching English. I enjoy my classes even if there are lots of research to do. I gain knowledge and most of all, friends who are hard to find these days.

My objectives will be for my personal and professional growth since in my occupation, I will not be receiving any salary increase. I wanted to elevate my standards of living someday. In my line of work, I must be updated, to be informed about strategies and to be more compassionate educator. Also to help other teachers by providing suggestions and things I still can offer as I can.
I just took up my comprehensive examinations this summer and I am nervous if I am a passer.
I hope I can accomplish my thesis within the year.

So, as you read this, you are able to know who is Madeline Perolina, the teacher you are condemning and at the same time spreading lies about. Now, can you tell everybody that you really know me. I don't think so, because this is only my educational and professional background. You still don't know me personally. PERIOD.

The effects of Text Messaging on Language Development
The good effects of text messaging are: 1.) It can improve your language skills when it comes to texting. 2.) You can use this two connections in performing English Language development.
3.) It can be a high technology to improve your skills not only in studying in school and 4.) You can pass message using your language skills.

Sunset and Me
The sunset is the best way to resolve your problem before it closes the day. When I see a sunset, I know that the day tomorrow will give me a blessing to face again the other sunset and the other day that will come. For me, sunset also is the way to refresh my mind and to face challenges the next day.

- Jello Romero de Matta

Effects of Modernization and Technology
Our country, Philippines is now using different kind of Technology developed by other countries. Gadgets such as cellphones, gameboys, mp3s / mp4s and computers affect the health and growth of the youth. However, some of the gifted children make robots that can help our country.
Not only technology may affect the youth and their health if we all make good things that may help the popularization and the civilization of our country.

Sunset and Me
Sunset and peaceful beach
And one clear call for me
And may I see the sun as it sets down
And sing a song for it like a sleeping child
But such a tide as moving seems asleep
Too full for sound and foam
When that it drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home
(excerpt)
-Geleen Graciela V. Laforga

The effects of Modernization on the youth
There are different effects of Modernization/Technology on the youth. Some aspects of technology can affect the education of a student. It can either improve or decrease the level of education. Some technology can affect the health of humans. Cellphones, MP3 players, laptops and PCs have radiations that can result to insomnia and brain problems.

The technology sure does move fast and life becomes much easier now than then but humans should be careful for our knowledge is still not full. Our knowledge is still not complete and we, especially experts and scientists should be extra careful not to be over confident of their inventions. They need either to study or sell inventions. Seemingly, now either nature isn’t damaging itself nor the animals and God, but we humans are the ones destroying our only home, our only planet, Earth.

One stormy day (an excerpt)
One stormy day, I’m not gay
For the gray skies above
Are not as beautiful as a white dove.
Who would even try to jump so high,
With thunder and lightning in the sky.
Sleeping tightly at the afternoon,
I should have done when there’s a moon,
I woke up and gladly said,
"Oh my goodness! The sun woke up from its bed.
-Jan Kenneth M. Logro

The effects of Modernization / Technology on the Youth
The technology today has many effects to the youth either good or bad effects. The good effects are the technology can help the kids do their assignments. The bad effects are the technology cab make the children get lazy. Both the modernization and technology can destroy the environment. Not only that the vehicles can destroy the environment but also the refrigerators that releases CFCs. Both overpopulation and deforestation can cause global warming. With too much pollution the youth can have many diseases and is dangerous now than before. So, we must be careful what we do that can affect the environment and the youth.
-Daniel D. Geda

The effect of the Modernization / Technology on the youth is that they didn’t study very well in this generation. Both young and adults are using different things that use technology. Whether it was a cellphone or a computer, they use it in their daily living.
Some students also get low grades because they cut classes to play computer games. But some students also study very well. There are also students who gets high grades even though they cut classes and play computer games, or use other things that use technology and will prevent students to get high grades.

Sunset and Me
The sunset is my favorite part of the day. I’d love to watch the sky and the colors red, yellow and orange combined so beautifully! I’m happy if I am watching the sunset, because of this, I can relax myself and forget my problems. My stress disappears. And also, I can build some stories by imagining freely by means of simply watching the sunset. That’s the reason why I’m always staring and gazing in the sky….
-Erica B. Uy

The effects of text messaging on Language Development
There are many people who are either using the correct language or using shortcuts. The effects of text messaging is really bad. Not only for me, but also for all of us. Both children and adults are addicted to text messaging. They either text nonsense or text important ones. Neither of us nor poor people, even has a cellphone. So, some of us are using shortcuts like Helo & Txt and many others. Whether you believe it or not there are more than 2 million of cellphone users here only in the Philippines. And many people also sell cheap cellphone but they are fake ones. Just as long as there are cellphones, language development may have a poor outcome.

Sunset and Me
Watching the sunset is really a very cool idea because it will give you conclusion on how it sets every evening. I have experienced it when I was in Boracay. Although it is near the horizon, I really enjoyed watching it. For the seashore is the best place to watch the sun set.
Orange light above my head
You lead each path with your light
You make people happy every time we see you
We are deep in thinking on how you one made
You absolutely fade away
Your light seems swaying in the sky.
-Patricia Denise V. Magno

The Sports fest
First, we have a little parade in our school. After that, we performed the calisthenics presentation of every team. Next, the Battle of the Muses displayed their own presentation.
The students do the relays and obstacle course. And then, we played the basket ball, volleyball table tennis and chess games. It happened in our school last February 13, 14 and 15. After the event, the Terminators and Warriors practiced. It was the awarding ceremony. We felt happy because we won as a champion in our sports fest. It had changed my life because you learned a lot of sports. It can help my health and it can change my life because it makes me stronger.
-Gillian Gabriela V. Laforga

The important event for me was the sports fest. We won the second place on the championship event at the sports fest. All of the team members really worked hard just to win. We cheered, screamed and jumped in every game because of joy. After all the hard work, we won the "Battle of the Muses". Of course, it was a great achievement for us.
The joy we felt was very high even if at the other games we lost the place. Because of the joy we felt, the court, where the event was held was really bouncing cause of the noise. It changed my life in a way that I learned how to play volleyball and to be sportsman. At the end, we got medals and our trophy.
-Chelsea Gail S. Esteban

An Important Event
First, when my character in my MU Online grew up in level 389. My character was so powerful that all the monsters can not defeat my character but it’s so hard to grew up between by 390. After that, I told my two cousins to play it because they have an Internet Café.
Next, they told me that it was so cool and it was so fast to level and they told me that the items were so great.
It happened at ADL Internet Café inside my village. After that event, I told the cashier that I will stop playing because it’s time to eat.
I feel that I was so embarrassed that I spend Php100 because I didn’t level up. It changed my life because every time that I arrive at school, I always go to my classmates and tell them what happened and they tell me what was my account and they will play it but I don’t give them because I know they will hack it.
-John Harvey E. Habin

An Important Event
At the awarding ceremonies, all the teams met at the court and went to their respective groups at the court last February 15, 2008. As you would see, our team, the green one has more than 50 members. It was hard to control all those team mates and most of them are grades 1 to 3 and pre- schoolers. The teachers also played their exhibition games. The two teams were named Terminators and Warriors. They played the same game we had played except chess and basketball games. Terminators won because or maybe they have great players.

Next, we proceeded to the awarding ceremonies without interruption. Green team was the over-all champion and that was my team. All of us celebrated to the victory of green team. We shouted and shouted until our voices went off. We relaxed after all the games we went through. It was my memorable day ever. We repeated playing volleyball but it’s not a rematch, team management team.
It made me happy and proud of myself because I can show myself that I am great; I have talent. It changed my life by making me more confident and that’s how it all happened.

A BOOK REVIEW: PAM MUÑOZ RYAN’S ESPERANZA RISING

I had read about the life of the author and found that her grandmother is the Esperanza Ortega in the story and her grandfather is the character of Miguel.

Pam Muñoz Ryan tells the life of her grandmother and she is the inspiration of this book. Her grandma, Esperanza Ortega told her about her life in Mexico. She wrote down some of her grandmother’s recollection from her childhood.

She was born in a fairytale existence with wealth and grandeur which proceeded in the life inside a company farm camp where her grandma had lived and worked, together with her lifelong friends. Her grandma talked about those people and how they had helped her through desperate times which sometimes made her cry while recalling the memories.

Pam wished she had written down more before her grandma died because she could never stop wondering about her transition from Mexico to California and what it must have been like.

‘The rich person is richer when he becomes poor, than the poor person when he becomes rich.” It’s perfect quote because it describes the real meaning behind the story on how Esperanza’s hard work and suffering made her into a successful woman.

‘It is easier to close a river than to stop a gossip, “This quote is related to the part of the story when Marta saw Esperanza sweeping the floor, Esperanza doesn’t know how to sweep. She had seen Hortensia, their housemaid sweeps many times and tried to visualize her memory. So, she put both hands near the middle of the broomstick and moved it back and forth. It swung wildly. A group of women was laughing at her including Marta who pointed at her and yelled “CINDERELLA! Marta shared the news to the whole camp.

And I found that the word Esperanza means hope in Spanish. So, I think that’s the reason why it was very inspiring story.

PUPILS CARE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Read their essay on what they have to say about the preservation of our nature:

AS A CHILD, HOW CAN I HELP IN PRESERVING THE ENVIRONMENT/ OUR NATURE?

As a child, I can help the preservation of nature by taking care of the environment and giving importance to them by planting trees and flowers, and watering them. I will follow the rules and regulations in dealing with the condition of our nature. I will do this by not stepping at the grasses, picking up the pieces of paper, throwing trashes at their proper garbage cans and recycling biodegradable things to newer ones.

As a student, I will separate or segregate biodegradable materials from non-biodegradable with their appropriate places. One of the benefits of recycling will be earning extra income for selling these things. I can also help the government in making and approving the laws in simple ways by taking good care of our nature. Then, someday our country will not just be an attractive country but a cleaner and greener country.
-Ma. Beatriz M. Malacaman
Grade six pupil

As a child, I can help the preservation of nature by planting trees and also recycling materials. Segregation is also necessary. It is a process of separating the biodegradable from the non- biodegradable materials.

The government and public officials are worrying about our environment because many people do not have discipline. Many people cut a tree, that’s why our environment is dirty and polluted. One of the policies that prevents the air pollution is Clean-Air Act, but many people do not follow the law.

I hope that all people in the world have discipline, so that the air that we will breathe is fresh and clean. Then, we will be healthy and strong. And also, the floods with be prevented.

-Erika B. Uy
Grade six pupil

As a child, I can help the preservation of nature by means of joining different organizations and launching different projects to help the environment. I can also contribute different skills, so that children younger than me can also help about taking care of the environment.

There are several reasons why I want to contribute my abilities to the environment: One, to make our surroundings clean and very peaceful; Two, to make the world greener. I will also plant trees, most especially in our country so it will turn into a more beautiful place absence of any pollution and unwanted chemicals which are bad for our bodies.

I want to tell everybody to preserve the world’s environment for everybody’s future. As they climb up to their future goals and ambitions, they will know how beautiful the world it is. So, let us start contributing what we know for the world’s better future.

- Patricia Denise V. Magno
Grade six pupil

As a child, I can help to preserve the environment by putting signs at the forests and jungles that says please do not cut trees, so the trees of the environment will be safe.

As a child, I can help to preserve the environment by putting small fences around some flowers in the city so people will not step on the flowers.
As a child, I can help to preserve the environment by building some small houses in our backyard so every animal that has a wound can go to the houses and I will help them cure their wounds and free them when they are already cured.

As a child, I can help preserve the environment by cleaning the outdoors so it will not be dirty and every living thing that lives outdoors will not get sick.

As a child, I can help to preserve the environment by helping the animals find and build their houses in safe places so that their family won’t get harmed.

As a child, I can help to preserve the environment by planting plants such as flowers, fruit trees, and many more so the environment will be complete,

More Adventures

Summer of 2007

I was a talent coordinator again.

This is what had happened:

Ang pamilya BAILE (DANCE)As of the moment, i am a 'surrogate' mother to four members of DANCERS LEAGUE since the campaign period started. Kasi talent coordinator ako uli.
I was hesitated to be close to them bcoz 'nadala' na ako before when I was still handling talents who became ingrateful and snobbish.

Kaya after the first auditions and the Video Shoot I laid back as a talkative person.

Last March 29, 2007, I had the time to bond with the 3 dancers and the choreographer when we went to Divisoria to buy outfits. I found out their true attitude. There are naturally helpful and compassionate persons.

Since the campaign period started, I told someone that adopted ko si Ian. He began calling me 'mommy' from then on.

Their names are Monthiel Perma(18), Sieg Pelle Basilonia(18), Ian Dulay (17) and Julie Anne Septimo (14) all from Dasmariñas, Cavite.

The 'ama' of the three boys is Jeff Akira Bugaoan- dancer/choreographer bcoz he is the discoverer of them as a potential dancers especially in break-dance.

The 'uncle' or minsan 'tatay' is Ruel Oda, another choreographer, more incline to ballroom dancing.

Their 'dancer' father, however, only julie knows, the boys doesn't know. He is Oliver Villanueva from the other dance group, DANZ PRO.

Monti, as I call him, I think is the soft-spoken one and has exotic looks. Madaling kausap. Lapitin ng guys...he he he..

Sieg, the guy with expressive eyes, is the gentleman and mild-mannered guy. Marami ring kumikiringking sa kanya.

Ian, ang makulit saka hyper-active na dancer. He is also a gentleman at maasikaso. Ma-emote din. Magnetic din sa girls.

Julie, mabait ding bata at fashionista. Maraming admirers. She is the one who knows na ang daddy nila is Oliver.

Oooppps! Someone might read this stuff. Basta, for me fafa ko si oliver...dancer din naman ako hindi lang
active...

Until natapos ang kampanyahan, patuloy pang dumami ang pamilya namin.
Si Kuya Rey, matagal na rin namang 'TATAY REY' ang tawag sa kanya. Even me, I call him 'tatay'. Si Shikai, since the day I met her, I call her sister.

One day, this another 'noisy' dancer, Juan Carlos tells me that 'I AM HIS WIFE' daw. ASAWA daw niya ako. he he he...(sinusuwerte siya..) Then, meron pang tumatawag ng nanay ang pinaka-babaero sa mga dancers, no other than Resty. Another one, calls me INAY, si Jhaja... Stepdaughter ko daw siya...anak ni Carlos.

Let's review: MOMMY ako kina:
RESTY - obvious namang mana kay O.V. (tall, matangkad, chick magnet. Siya ang tumawag ng utol kay Ian.
JHAJA - obvious namang mana kay Juan Carlos MONTHIEL - sabi niya ang tunay na tatay daw niya si Archie (where did you come up with that idea..hmmm..hmm?? paano nga ba?) I told him anak ko siya sa ex-bf ko..he he he

Si NICA ang apo ko. he he he he ...

Taklesa nga ako, hindi ba!Saka, from the start, even if I tried my SUPER MEGA VERY best, atakihin ako ng illness ko or even my ADRENALIN POWERS sa effort, it WASN'T good enough. I don't have the power to satisfy their tastes or reach their standard rate in my quality of work... I can not PLEASE someone with HIGHER authority or everybody. Only 20 persons or less lang.

eto ngayon, in-charge sa grade school production...sieg and jen .....tulong naman sa mga props! hu hu hu..
Message: I really miss my whole 'talent' familyespecially....A.)my 'sons' singers EMIL AND MYRHUS,B.)my 'sons' dancers namely:resty, monthiel, sieg, ian, at latest addition si jeggo.C.)my 'daughters' dancers namely:(step) Jhaja, Julie Anne, Carlyn and(adopted daw) Sophie nina Noemi atOtep.D.)my 'apo' DanicaE.)and all the dancers league....ruel, archie, ronnie, jeff b, jeff l.,jhun, juan carlos, lovely, jasmin, suzette, noemi, new membersyhang, pocholo and jerome.F.)shikai - my adopted 'sister'.G.) for all the dancers: makinig at sumunod sa mga INSTRUCTIONS.keep moving...give your consistentsmile.continue to behave, disciplineyourself, makisama, be obedient andcooperate and most of all,
PATIENCE.saka... kahit hindi na ako angbackstage / production staff pleaselang ipakita niyo namang professionalkayo kasi - - - - sa akin ang negativefeedback nun.
keep in touch guys!
from mami madz

p.s.
sa totoo lang, sa kanila ko lang na-feel ang mga 'siblings' that I didn't have and my ideal 'future' children. They are not perfect but they treat me as their kapamilya na may puso hindi lang ka-BARKADA. They value ang pinaghihirapan ko. Not only the negative but the positive aspects of me. They gave me a more optimistic view when I was down. Unlike, others who treated me as a 'stranger' at walang man lamang PINAG-SAMAHAN! (hindi siguro sila umiinom ng SAN MIG)

Uy, may magrere-act dito...jen..ha! AMININ...!! This is not oral defamation, libel or slander. this is my opinion...I have the RIGHT. FREEDOM of speech...

New adventures as a registrar?

I was really happy when we organized the band contest, TUGTUGALINGAN 2006: Rakrakan ng mga Astig!

First, I was the registrar.

I was so excited I met a lot of people, especially guys...he he he he...just kidding..as if...
they are 25 yrs and below. haler! I have my own age requirement.

Anyway, I was stressed out two days before the actual event. There was a miscommunication between the staff and the audition masters. Well, we went through that tough decision to accept those who are late with their requirements.

Our event was successful last Oct 6, 2006. The crowd stayed with us until midnight. Wheww!
I still feel the adrenaline rush until now...

We didn't expect the grand champion to be the winner, actually! Our major bets didn't reach the top 5 except Maldita's Ground, Summeromance didn't make it. My minor bet bagged as the second placer.

After being a marketing officer, I will be handling the programs of QFM next week. I mean schedules.

New Adventures as a dj

Yesterday, I was given the chance to be a dj for ON THE MIXED program.
I chose my airname as EVA because:

1.) it means life-bringer
2.) it is a tribute to Vanessa Lacsamana, a.k.a. Alma Moreno," the shooting star".
Accdg to my mother, 'pinaglihi' niya ako sa kanya. One of her first starring role is EVA FONDA, 16.
3.) i wanted to be as seductive as EVA Longoria.
